HOw is it so hard for any of you to see that all you’ve done is said you have 1000 items and an item you want is amongst those 1000 you have?
0.01% is the drop chance.
If you convert that to a fraction, it’s 1:1000 per gift.
1 in a 1000 chance.
That is still saying you have 1000 things and the single item you want is INSIDE one of them hence the phrase 1 IN 1000
one of them is IN those 1000 so it’s still being guaranteed

Person 3 drops wings after opening 1000 boxes.
Based on that data, using average, we can assume that drop chance is around 1 in 1000.
For better assumption you need more data.
Except you cannot use that because you literally just said collect 800 gifts and you will have a 100% chance to get the wings because the wings are in the 800 which is what 1 in 800 means
1 wings are IN the group of 800 so you are gauranteed to get it because 1 set of wings is going to be in one of those 800
I want to clarify that no one in this thread thinks the wings are guaranteed within 1000 gifts. What is being said is that due to the speculated drop rate of .1%, if we take the average amount of gifts among a large sample size of players, it will trend towards 1000 gifts opened on average. Some will have much less, some will have more.
