Anyone know if we Wizards are getting a new set or revised set(s) with the next patch? The new stuff for Crusader and Monk are quite good. I haven’t played monk but the Crusader is an insanely strong beast.
No, blizzard hadn’t revealed any information regarding which classes would be the next to receive new sets. Personally I’m expecting Demon Hunters and Witch Doctors to be the next to receive new sets.
That said, if any existing wizard sets are to be overhaul, it’s definitely got to be the firebird set. Although, I wouldn’t mind if the vyr set would receive some attention with things like a cooldown reduction effect for archon alongside an additional damage boost to it’s 6 piece effect that’ll pertain to the archon abilities only.
Thanks. I believe you mentioned such change ideas to Vyrs a few months ago. I agree Firebirds needs to be revised but they should improve DMO as well. Also, they made changes to Barb as well so maybe we might see some Wiz love.
Blizzard did say that they plan on taking a look at all sets as they go about with future patches.
So they may indeed improve DMO.
Since wizards just received the nerf bat (Chantodo) for the last patch, it might be okay to hope for something to happen next patch. I don’t think it’s time for the new wiz set yet, DH and WD might come next, but they might do something about Firebird. That eyesore needs a complete overhaul.
