Personally, that’s the only reason I jumped through those silly hoops to get TL3, so I can get the people who disagree with me suspended /s
Even less than there was before the forum software was upgraded.
I think there was only 22 or maybe 25 that had TL3 from meeting the requirements. Something I thought was a crazy low number anyway.
Prior to the forum software upgrade, I met the requirements for TL3.
After the upgrade, I didn’t.
I missed what the upgrade was all about, so I don’t really know what changed, or what cause the changes
I have read a lot of his posts. He does disagree with people and sometimes provides data to back up his view. Proving you wrong is not bullying. It is how the world works. When you are wrong, and state it publicly, others get to prove you are wrong. Unless they use personal attacks unrelated to your comment, you are not being bullied.
Yeah, but they don’t. Which means the ones who do have done more work and get more attention.
Unless the reaction meme breaks the forum rules he is totally allowed to do that. You are not required to check your opinion or ability to talk at the door when you get MVP or manual TL3.
HOW you say it matters. “I disagree with you for x reasons related to game mechanics”. Won’t get you suspended. Being insulting will. I don’t know if you did or not, but given you seem to have a personal option about one poster I have questions.
I wish!!!
That is not how it works.
FYI…targeting and calling out other players is against the forum rules. esp when you make personal accusations against them.
I am TL3. This is not true. I tend not to report people unless they really cross the line. When I have reported someone, they have continued to post.
Yeah well my original comment left out the name of the player but you wanted more info so you got it.
I never asked you for a name or to break forum rules.
Well you’re shaming me. And I dislike that.
Please stop claiming to be a victim just because someone disagreed with you.
This forum is so toxic I don’t know why I even come back
Because you enjoy the attention.
Flagged you for trolling
I suggest you go back and review that thread to see who actually posted those memes and your subsequent apology.
I had an ethical dilemma about the forum and flagging one post in particular. I tend not to flag posts unless there are truly outrageous and have never even considered reporting anyone for a real-life threat with one exception.
In a hypothetical scenario:
Without going into specifics, this post is the only one that I ever considered reporting as “a real-life threat”. Ultimately, I decided to report the post in a different category, because I feared that if the mods did not consider it as serious as I did, then I would be sanctioned.
To this day, that post still exists and bugs me. Moreover, you can imagine there could be an extra-complication in who made that post.
So my question is: In a scenario like this where you feel a post is in the “gray” area, is it better to just report it as a real-life threat to make sure it gets reviewed? (I assume that all posts reported in this category are manually reviewed. Is this true to your knowledge?)
