Hey there. I am new to D3 on ps4 and i would like to play multiplayer. However like how ? Do i have to have pre existing friends? Please help

Join a clan (see the clan communities):

If you only wish to do it randomly, select ‘public’ in the game options and choose rifts or bounties (for shorter group play).

From what I understand (not a console player myself), you need a PlayStation Plus subscription to play online multiplayer on PS4.

No, both PC and console versions have a public matchmaking option.
