Multi Boxing is now illegal

This isn’t quite true. You can run more than one game client from the Battle.net app, but you have to launch a second Battle.net app instance in order to do so. The irony here is that the prescribed advice of having the Battle.net app shut down when launching a game can prevent you from properly multiboxing because it only recognizes the need to launch a new instance of the game if a copy of itself (Battle.net app) is also already running. Hence your workaround for custom shortcuts, which is actually how a great many multiboxers prefer to work anyway for simplicity’s sake (i.e. it doesn’t break when the Battle.net app might).

Well its been awhile. I just know that it didn’t work well till I did it like I have it setup now… Hell I use a shortcut like this for OW as well, but its so I can log into an Alt account.

Not to mention the extra memory you have to use to run multiple battlenets… LOL

Hahahah, you again!

Hello there. Still unhappy about Blizzard banning software used to cheat? :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Correct, but I don’t think anyone actually believes Blizzard does care or help fix if they do. Since day 1 I have always heard and used the term support to mean they allow it and provide a forum for help with LUA issues.

16 years in and this is how I have always used and interpreted the term support in regards to addons. As well as the opposite, there are games that haven’t allowed them and those games are said to not support addons. That is just how that term is used when relating to addons.

Probably. We see these guys come a crying every time they ban bots.

WoW addons are not cheating. I may have not followed your whole exchange with KABAL, but wanted to be clear about that.

I hope you were not saying Addons were cheating. They are user interface modification files that operate in a Blizzard controlled sandbox.

I mean the multiboxing software.

I have just been arguing that Blizzard support addons, why would I say they are cheating

Semantics though. Blizz does not provide tech or customer support for addons so they say “not supported”.

Fine line. They do of course provide the sandbox for UI modifications even if they won’t help with it.

So “support” tends to have a few meanings here.

Do you get the impression he heard a really cool word at school today, and is just trying to jam it in as many sentences as he can without understanding what the word actually means? :joy::joy::joy:

And what if i did? what would be wrong with that? It looks like you should try it sometime because you obviously don’t know it’s definition. Maybe spend less time showing the new players how toxic some portions of this community can be.

defamatory: damaging the good reputation of someone

Which is exactly what she was doing when she made false accusations such as

You were saying just yesterday how you were excited about the changes and that they were positive for you. I assume that was after the attempt at refunds, complaints about the changes, and attempt to get around it did not work.

Then you tried to find a way to still use the software

These were both attempts to accuse me of attempting and failing to cheat the system, BOTH FALSE AND DAMAGING TO MY GOOD REPUTATION.

Which was proven to be her intent when she exposed herself here.

WoW forum regs seem to think you have a bit of a reputation for the types of threads you make.

Her attempt to poison my reputation here on these D3 forums with her false assumptions of my reputation on an entirely different forum in which there’s no possible way for her to know for fact that it was even me for sure before making those baseless claims. Not that it matters but i have an impeccable likes to post ratio on that one character alone.

If you want to use big words, that’s ok. But try and have some understanding of what they mean.

I am offended by your floccinaucinihilipilification of my vocabulary.

That’s ok. Offence is something you take, it’s not something anyone can give you.

Your choice. :man_shrugging:t3:

You are clueless and do not understand what the difference is between multiboxing and botting, they just band a specific form of botting, get a clue.

You think so?
Do you really want me to post it all with the links to CS on your Naysayer character talking about your Bravata Bnet (this one). The guild Dream for that char with all your Multiboxing chars with the name scheme - including Bravdo and varieties of Naysayers.

The Bravado character - guild - more Naysayers.

Your two Btags with D3 profiles with your same char name patterns? (except your Meteorblade ones where you twist the name to insult).

I can post all that if you want, it is public information.

P.S. A like to post ratio means nothing. People know who you are, and remember you. That is a reputation YOU build. Not only there, but here.

And before you decide that reading your posts or profiles is against rules…read this thread. All of it. Especially the Blue replies.

Just exposing yourself as to how far you will go when you have a personal grudge against someone. You’re still guessing at that point and could be wrong and hurt someone that has nothing to do with any of this. It could be a random coincidence since there are literally 3 pages of characters with the same name from other realms. Could also be family or someone in the guild that shares similar naming scheme for roleplaying reasons. It’s not, but you don’t know that and the only evidence is my own admission after the fact.

Show me where Blizzard is saying Multibox is cheating. C’mon, go search for the …blue post.

Oh, your next reply will be “I don’t care, I see it as cheating” ?

Well , now imagine what I care about what you …believe!

/multiplefacepalms

They don’t. Is like saying Android ( the OS ) is supporting ANY Apps out there, because is written for(in) Android.

Blizzard is providing a…platform and anyone can write whatever code they want ( Addons ), as long as they follow Blizzard rules. You will get no support if you email Blizzard about X or Y addon, unless the …problem is on their end. Aka a “glitch” in the…Matrix.

So, repeat after me : Blizzard allows Addons AND Multibox ( for D3 as of now ).

Thanks!

they have so little knowledge on the subject and so much unjustifiable hate.

“I don’t care, I see it as cheating.”

Just for you

Yes, obviously. Android is supporting apps written for the OS.

Providing a platform is support.
But this is just semantics.
You are talking customer support. I am not.

It’s fiiine. This is a happy day for the world. No need to fight :two_hearts:
