Multi account question

StoneOld:

I start up 4 instances of the game on one computer, and 2 instances on the other.

Two “games,” 4 account characters in one, and 2 account characters in the other.

I never could warm up to the actual “Multibox” software, it was way to finicky, and too difficult to keep all 4 characters synchronized and on the same path. You had to do stupid things like run them all face-first into a wall to get them in step after one or more gets hung up on the geography.

Instead, I just “leapfrog” the characters, moving one, then the other. and most of the actual gameplay is performed by just one of the characters, while the others wait in town or at the door to a Rift while I essentially “carry” the other 3. Or the other one.

Then when it is time to cash in, all the accounts reap the rewards.

Makes sense but that seems like a lot of work to me. Thanks for the explanation StoneOld.
