Manald or Endless Walk?

Using the S20 Hydra set, what would be better?
Squirt + Manald (13k weapon dmg per stun, 10 hydra heads, 15% chance per, 100% extra dmg)
Endless Walk: 50% dmg reduc + 100% dmg while standing still

What would be more advantageous? The surviability of the set is nice but pretty sure Manald + squirt would be better?

Hero: Diablo III

Manald Heal doesn’t benefit from the Typhon’s Veil set bonus, the Serpent’s Sparker bonus, or the Magistrate bonus. So it won’t do very much damage in comparison to regular hydra damage.

You will be far better off with things that just buff the damage of your hydras like CoE, Endless Walk, and Squirt’s. I wouldn’t bother trying to work in Manald Heal, because it won’t be very good.

Ah. bummer :frowning:
Guess I’ll hunt down a better ring then.

It depends. And that’s between Travelers and Squirts, Manald is useless for this build (could work in a LoD T16 speed farm or smth).

Travelers for solo (speaking of pushing ofc), Squirts for 4p (you won’t drop squirts with barb & monk buffs).

You really can’t solo push past 120 with squirts on a wiz (at low paragon, maybe at 6k+ you can), your toughness won’t increase as easy / fast as your dmg and 50% more dmg taken is huge.

Also very important to check your AS, reaching next hydra APS is most important for DPS increase, make sure based on your gear / rolls / affixes that you are at one of the breakpoints, anything over it is wasted so better spent on other offensive (or defensive) stat.

For example, with 1.40 (standard wand / 1h sword speed), 10% from paragon and tasker (50% pet AS) you will need 0.7% IAS on gear to reach next breakpoint for frost hydra, and 17% for the next next one (which means 2x5% ias on rings for example and 1 x 7% on gloves or weapon).
