i bought the retail version of D3 and it says its a starter version. Not true. how does my char progress in the game

I moved this to a new thread since that thread was quite old and things shared there may not exactly apply for your situation.

When I checked into this, I think Borbou is onto something with something happening with the order. You should verify if the order actually completed successfully. The link they shared is good to check.

I have this same issue. I installed Diablo III that I personally purchased and am getting the same error after entering the Authentication Key, this code has been used already (yes I am sure it was by me). I have the correct email account I am logging on to, there is no other account. How do I get my legitimate copy of the game to upgrade from the “starter game” to the standard game I paid for?
