Hi there, i am new to the game and am looking for some people to play the game with on PC, North America. Not really sure how to add friends but will work on it haha. thanks guys.
To add friends, open social tab (lower right corner of screen), click ‘Add Friend’ , type in players name and #battletag, hit send.

Just starting out, I see. It may be hard to find others at this point.
If you haven’t done so, it’s a good idea to run through the Campaign at least once.
It’s pretty hard for new players in D3 to find somebody to play with.
Non-season players won’t play with you no matter what because of the insane paragon level difference and season players usually prefer to play with their “regulars table” of experienced players.
Your best bet is probably to find another new player to play with
