Ive been using the Wojahnni legendary crossbow for at least the last 400 ex points. Im currently at around 570. It’s been a pretty powerful weapon. A Leonine Bow of Hashir dropped and I threw a Flawless Royal emerald in it, as i did in the Wojahnni. CLEARLY the weapon stats for the Leoni are better and higher in every single category. So why is it that when I use it, it takes forever to kill monsters compared to the Wojahnni??
So that single feature overcomes all the other stats even though they are all so much higher? If true, I’m not too sure there is a better weapon for demon hunter than the Woj. Especially since it’s been more than 400 ex points since anything more powerful has dropped.
Wojohanni is a must for Rapid Fire builds.
Marauder and UE will likely use Yang’s Recurve.
Other builds will use other weapons.
Rapid Fire is most used when leveling or in LOD builds combined with Sin Seekers quiver
There’s also a case for a 2H xbow for Gears of Dreadlands: big damage numbers and the 1.1 aps helps hit a certain frame rate. I can’t say much more than that because I wasn’t paying attention and/or it’s too long ago for my memory. Twitch strimmer, Dieoxide, popularised it for GoD pushing, IIRC.
Hi, thanks for the help. I don’t actually know what you mean by picking passive skill. Or what you mean when you talk about seasons. I don’t know what this season talk is at all. I promise I didn’t come here being lazy. Honestly, when I google some of this stuff, the hits I get are so convoluted with abbreviations and what seems like esoteric language from people who have been playing for a long time and only use that language with each other, the explanations end up confusing me even more. I still feel like a beginner player who doesn’t understand all this talk about the difference between critical hit and regular hit damage and so much other language used in the game. “This damage is equal to your highest blah blah etc…”
Like the comment directly above me says “Twitch strimmer, Dieoxide, popularised it for GoD pushing, IIRC.”.
WUT?? I have no clue what that sentence means.
Thanks again for all the help.
Edit: Wait a minute…how do you know I haven’t picked a passive skill?? How are you seeing that info?
There’s a link to your profile on the web. Missing passive shows here:
Someone who used to stream Diablo III on the twitch.tv website. He used a two-handed crossbow, such as Wohjanni’s Assaulter to play higher level Greater Rifts while using the six piece set Gears of Dreadlands (frequently shortened to GoD).
Pushing is the term we use when trying to get higher up on the leaderboards in greater rifts.
Here are some links to probably the best content on Diablo III about:
You can find all sorts of information about seasons though it doesn’t have an explicit explainer of what seasons are, but in essence they’re the same as in other games: when you create a hero there’s an option to create them as Seasonal. That means you start afresh but have access to a few things like an altar where you can sacrifice things in order to get helpful effects, and each season has a theme that enhances gameplay. There are other options like Solo Self Found (SSF) which means you cannot group up with other seasonal players. That’s an extra challenge.
