I tried to delete my account, but they want a copy of my government ID.
They never needed this information before, so why do they need it now?
I refuse to give this company anymore of my personal information.
I understand that this company requires your government ID in order to delete your account. However, why would I provide this company with more personal information when they’ve shown they don’t stand behind their own principles/policies? They have plenty of other safe ways to go about deleting accounts.
It’s just a matter of principle for me.
