I think what got this thread off the rails is this statement right here. Lets be honest, two hours is not enough time to do all of those things.
Bathroom takes what 30 seconds at most Depending of course but even at bad times. Bathroom is like 5 mintues, Showering takes 10, eating takes 20, that leaves over an hour to power nap. Then up and back at it. Do you have no drive? Ever work a job where you work for 72 hours straight? It sounds like you havent. Should try out a crab boat for a season lol. You will learn the lack of sleep. But when you are making a years salary in 6 weeks. Sleep can wait.
“But I’ve smoked all my life and never gotten lung cancer, people saying smoking is bad are all BS!”.
That’s the logic you’re using right now.
I also don’t pay $1000 for a doctor to tell me I have a cold.
I’m also not telling you to sleep more than you think you need.
I’m just telling you that it’s beyond ignorant to think you know better than the experts to claim “it’s all a bunch of BS because I didn’t get sick”.
I still drink even though it’s bad for me. I’m just not about to go around saying that because nothing bad has happened everybody going on about the health risks is just out for a quick buck.
4-6 is a lot different from the 2 you were originally claiming(less if you include everything not-gaming you need to do while awake).
As for your being fine on just a power nap, you’ll forgive me if I don’t take your source of “dude, trust me”.
OK, you’re talking about your specific case… This thread derailment stemmed from the time that people spend playing, specifically those that average 22+ hours a day playing. I seriously doubt that multiple thousands of people can function with that level of sleep deprivation.
At one time all doctors said smoking didnt cause lung cancer.
Yes you do, you just dont notice it. Mainly if you pay for health insurance. Which I have paid thousands into over the years and never once used.
Ok so dont. That is your choice and your belief. Many believe in a comic book character created all of this as well. We still let them think it.
That was an example to teach you but you just refuse to accept that things are different then what you want to believe.
I have a full life to prove it but to be honest, what you think means less then nothing really. Your opinion will not change what is or how things work.
So go sleep and while you are sleeping I will be living life.
Then you dont know many millionaires do you? Never lived in NY either from the sounds of it. You would be amazed how many people really dont sleep alot.
Talk to that single parent working 2 full time jobs and raising kids while going to school.
You sound really entitled right now. Its like you have never gone out and seen the world or even looked at the world beyond your own little bubble. The world is built on the backs of people that dont sleep alot. Go out and see the world.
OK I can see this is getting nowhere fast.
Here’s the deal, you do you, I’ll do me, which includes me no longer participating in this conversation.
Good day to you, sir.
You are right. As long as you refuse to accept the truth of the matter it will go no where.
I accept that some people need alot of sleep. I know one guy that cant function on less then 12. But he is the odd ball in the group.
But either way. Good luck and good day. May your sleep be long and uninterrupted.
Much like the anti-vaxxers(who use the same logic), there’s not much point in us doing anything but laughing and going about our day.
I think I’m getting somewhere faster with those guys in the “You are not getting offline mode” thread who insist that offline modes lead to rampant hacking.
AFAIK hardware ban is not possible as much you may like and wont stop from cheating at all

Absolutely everything Blizzard does is about money. Only fool’s, Beefhammer, who have no idea how the real world works, don’t know this.
For some reason while reading this, I thought of the song Pink Floyd - Money.
“Don’t give me none of that two goodie good BS.”
Well I was thinking more along the lines “Money, so they say, is the root of all evil today.”
No fooling a company exists to make money. It’s just there are so many obvious ways they could be doing it far more aggressively than they do, which they don’t is all I’m trying to point out.
How dense do you need to be to it recognize it. Permanently banning botting accounts to force them to buy new games/licenses would be the easiest way to get big bucks without having to spend development costs. Yet they don’t do it. Why is that? Why haven’t they added the easiest way to make quick cash in D3 by adding a cosmetic shop?
Yes a business aims to make money. But many of the haters who believe it’s not about making good games and only about making money ignore all the obvious avenues Blizzard never takes in that regard. And I only gave two simple, non predatory ways. They could go super predatory as well, and really haven’t.
PF drummer, Nick Mason’s $8 million Ferrari Enzo
And money isn’t the root of all evil, the love of it is.
As Jim Carrey in Bruce Almighty said while sitting in his Saleen S7, “Yeah, it gets me from A to B.”
Mason shows up to the track where his car is being test driven in his personal helicopter.
Speaking of dense. You can’t ban what you can’t detect.
Yet they have detected and temporarily banned 100s of thousands of accounts for botting over the years.
