I switching over to 1440p, but the UI elements are super tiny. My son is also switching over to 1440p.
Solved:
- I opened “Wine Configuration” for the game in Lutris.
- On the graphics tab, increase the DPI… I set it to 192 and now its good.

Not that I know if it will work but have you tried different settings like Windowed or Windowed full screen and whatever options there are? Pure guesswork of course.
On the desktop right click the screen. Then click on the Display. In there change the scale from 100% to 125% or 150%.
Thank you both.
I’m on Linux not Windows, but the same issues would exist on Windows. You are suggesting to scale up the entire desktop environment which is different that scaling the UI of an application. However, even scaling up the desktop environment leaves the Blizz launcher with very tiny UI elements. I’ll have to try out some of the settings within Lutris to get the desktop scaling effect.
Oh and @Jazz:
The Steam D2-R Warlock DLC game running on Linux, in full screen mode, with the Linux desktop set to 1440, no Vsync, and scaled to 125%, causes the game to set its resolution to 4096x2304 @ 50% scaling, which is 2048 x 1152 resolution. If I raise the in-game scaling from 50% to 63% (62.5 rounded up) then I should have 2560x1440 resolution, but I’m not going to bother since the in-game resolution, and refresh seems good.
