Oh make no mistake, threads are being deleted by the hundreds since beta start. They’re just picking and choosing. There was one point there was 400 new threads, and then I come back 2 hours later and it’s down to 150.
So what do you think is under the tab labelled “Game Creation” in the Option menu in Blizzard’s screenshot? The other 4 tabs are in the beta.
Things like number of players and level differences are in a different menu in the beta.
I assume the Friend List no password thing(I forget the name) option will be in that tab, so you can turn if off or on in a game session.
Also that page might not be in beta, because they moved those options to the game creation screen in the lobby.
It will because we’re winning the battle against the purist !!! Blizzard may finally IGnore the playerbase of less then 5K and go with the masses!!!
David Brevik stated that due to technical limitations he could not do personal loot or he would it would have and it would change nothing!!!
Also remind purist they fear a challenge of an actual end game and balance!!! Tell them we don’t buy the lie that this game is hard or requires any sort of skill!!! We simply know better stand and fight don’t let the purist kill the game again keep fighting keep pushing we will win
I don’t know and I am dying to find out!!! I am going to have to learn that stuff fast so I can help answer questions and explain options.
Right now I am thinking it might be related to the usual factors - max players, level diff, maybe things like latency or datacenter preference. Maybe filters for help finding games?
That particular tab has me feeling like an anxious kid looking at a box I can’t open.
That setting was in the lobby too in the beta (if I remember correctly)
Most of those settings are in the lobby settings that is a different menu (except latency and datacenter preferences)
People really want it.
Which version of lobby PC or console or both?
I mainly played console so I can’t speak of that. Sounds to me it would be PC because console doesn’t have much of a lobby right now.
no personal loot.
thanks

When we voiced our concerns when d3 came out saying it was wayy too far from what d2 was, all yall said go back and play d2 and leave d3 to us. So we did, now we’re getting a d2 remaster and so I guess it’s time for us to say stop crying go play d3
Oh no, I was in agreement with you on D3.

Do you think so?
It seemed as if they were still going for the classic realm split and the “whole world one bnet” approach would simply mean that we could use our characters on all realms.
I would expect all internal routing being done behind the facade of the realms.
Or was that just a short-term beta solution?

It probably is console’s game creation menu.

Blizzard did not explicitly say if the screenshot was console or PC in their accessibility blog post. I assumed PC but could be wrong.

It won’t be in there at release.
Not everything is war. People with different gaming preferences are NOT your enemy. Stop trying to create division with name calling and such.
We are ALL Diablo gamers, and all love D2 for various reasons. We all want the game to succeed and are excited for the remake.
When my sister and I squabbled over something as a kid, my dad would just take whatever it is away. Heh. The equivalent would be the devs saying “Fine, you can’t get along and compromise NOBODY gets the game!”.
Obviously they won’t do that.
Wanting the game as it was is fine.
Wanting the game with a few changes is fine.
Neither are bad people. Neither deserve name calling.
The DEVS will decide what they end up doing.

I do not think so. Look the background is the first town, and therefore not the game lobby. I also took a screenshot of the option tab in beta in the first town. In the beta, it had 4 tabs and not five when in town.

I don’t know. I really want to know how they are doing the infrastructure though. I have guesses, but I don’t know how they will implement it and am dying to see.

Now that you mention it, the potion belt has 1-2-3-4 as hotkeys. I assume they don’t on console?
They were in the lobby menu true, but you could also just Make a game from the out of lobby menu with no options. So maybe that tab is so when in those games, you can set passwords and invite status and things.
They don’t on console. For console it’s the directional D-pads left, right, up and down.
