I am trying to save a Taeguk level 80 in one of my armory saves. But when saved, it saves a higher level 85 I have in inventory. I get the message “Armory set changed. You gems were resocketed to best match it”. I view my save and sure enough, there’s a level 85 there but my char has the level 80.
I don’t this is similar to the issue that was fixed, ring on left but saved on the right. But seems to be in the same class of problem.
It is not a bug. That is how gems work. Otherwise you will be forced to resave your gear in the armoury every time you upgrade a gem (legendary or otherwise). For the vast majority of players, we want the highest level of whatever gem we have socketed. I have no idea why you would want a nerfed version of a gem in your gear, but whatever.
How dare the game maximize your character!
It would be a bug if it swapped Taeguk for something else, like, umm, yeah, Moratorium.
