There’s just no if’s and’s or butt’s about it. I’ve tried every trick in the book and nothing helps locust do enough damage.
If you’re using Locust Swarm to deal damage, you’re playing it wrong. The build guides I found the Locust Swarm is only used to proc Ring of Emptiness. It’s actually a pet build.
As a DoT effect Locust Swarm does relatively little damage per second, no matter how much it’s buffed. That’s why it’s used only with Jade set since it can hit insane amount of DoT damage all at once.

Still doesn’t change the point. Locust Swarm is not a good choice to deal damage directly.
obviously, that’s why im depressed. it used to be though. dots used to be good.
