i will pay whatever y ou ask for controller support … even partial support.
There’s switch versions for that. ![]()
I used an emulator called Primehack to play Metroid Prime 1-3. It adds modern FPS controls to those games, and it has good ways to emulate the wii-mote, can even play with WASD and mouse. Pretty amazing. I’m sure something similar could be done for D3.
There is no one to pay or work on this. D3 has been out of development for over 2 years.
There is some talk about something possibly happening with D3 being announced at Blizzcon but at this point it is still talk.
Given it was over 15 years after the D2 team was disbanded before D2R was released we have a bit more time to wait before anything major is done with D3 but only time will tell.
It was less than 2 years after Blizzard said there would be NO more development for D2 that patch 1.10 was released with sweeping changes. This has been explained to you several times yet you continue to try raining on every person’s parade who asks for anything in this game. You make a lot of presumptive statements based solely on conjecture.
There isn’t WASD or keyboard/mouse support on the emulated version of Switch D3.
Ah, but I’ve said too much already.
As a stop gap until our wildest D3 dreams become real, use Steam Input, assign a mouse region to the left stick and the most essential hotkeys to other controller buttons.
You can play the full gameplay loop with this setup, in some cases it can work better than keyboard + mouse.
I think I’ve farmed close to 100 rift keys in an hour on a gamepad. I’m fairly confident I can clear GR150 non-season, using Akkhan, on a gamepad.
Anyways, don’t wait for miracles — spend a few hours to setup and perfect your own Steam Controller profile.
