How to enchant The Magistrate (or other item)?

I just got a primal magistrate with the following primary affixes:

1- +1000 intelligence
2- +1000 vitality
3- Increases Disintegrate Damage by 15%

I am playing a Typhon Frost Hydra.

the specific question: I don’t care about the Disintegrate. If I replace it, can I get the +6% to critical hit? Of if I want that, do I need to replace Vitality?

My Google-fu didn’t uncover the answer. Diablo 3 planner lets me replace it that way, suggesting yes. But I don’t trust that much, and… no second chance.

the generic question: given an item, how can find in advance the possible enchant replacements for a given affix?

You can check at the mystic.

Once you put an item in there, click on the little “?” on the affix you want to check, found on the right hand side.

I’d say you want to replace Disintegrate damage with 6% crit chance. You don’t even use Disintegrate in your build.

Yeah, Disintegrate to crit chance is kind of a no-brainer here.
