How to cancel d2r pre order

Every Diablo title has its pros and cons, but I like them in their own way.

What in the world are you talking about do you even know how to read?

  • If you do not know what quotation marks are used for have an adult help you.

This is what OP said in another post.

  • “d2r is just an autofail and will suck more than d3”

So it seems the OP has not even played Diablo 2 or LoD. Only a mod and only for a short time.

I would wager there is no pre-order on this account. I can’t prove that, but I would suspect not.

This post seems to be :fire: :fishing_pole_and_fish:

MissC refresh my memory, how does the pre-order work do they send us an email when the game is ready so we can download it, or will it just show up in Battlenet already installed?

This ^^ At most you just have to click the “install” button on the D2R tab. Often they allow that before game release so that people have time to manage their download preferences.

There is also a huge announcement ahead of time on the website, gaming news media, fan websites, etc. They tell us when the release date and time is. Sometimes they even have a count down on the website.

Not only does mana regenerate, and there are hordes of items that boost regenerate, there is even a mechanic called mana leech where you replenish mana from attacking monsters. I’m guessing you literally played 5 minutes cast 2 spells, ran out of mana and rage quit. Diablo2 is obviously too complex for you.

I’m curious. Why would you pre order a remake of a game you had never played in the first place? Also, if you had paid enough attention to what we’ve found out about D2R, you’d know they are increasing stash size, so not sure why you’re complaining on that part.

Get some Mana regen on your gear.

I was thinking the same thing. I got banned for calling someone a casual player, which they were. Toxicity is apparently allowed if it tow’s the company line lol.

To be fair to those that responded, at least in part anyway, the OP started this thread with a whole lot of attitude, so the response they got, was at least in part, a self-inflicted wound.

I am not trying to be toxic but I have no sympathy for someone who pre-orders a game while having so little of a clue about it that those problems that would take barely any time to be aware of are putting them off.

What attitude? He described the issue he had with mana and generating. Sure there were a bit of “negativity”, but nothing like the replies he got. He told that it was crap, you really took offense to that? People here think D2 is the holy grail and excuse their toxic behavior by saying op has an attitude? Uhm okay, I bet you called something crap before.

I’ve purchased things that I returned cause I didn’t need them or disliked them after a small amount of usage. You probably have as well.
There is absolutely nothing wrong in regretting a purchase after trying it out.

Really? They “complain” about casting twice and running out of mana, and having no way to regenerate it.

They complain about having to press 4 keys to use a potion, which is about 3 more than I’ve ever had to.

I mean, ok, maybe people shouldn’t just pile in on them, but at best I would have skipped over their post without comment and wrote them off as a flamer.

And THIS you call an attitude? You call it an attitude to say it’s crap? More like an excuse to be toxic.

That wasn’t the only thing - you beat me to the reply before I put my edit in.

Their post seems to me to be quite obviously a “rage post”, and nominates causes for that rage that infer they played for all of about 5 minutes before coming here and posting.

It’s a bad “first impression” they’ve made, and yes, they do count.

Again, I wouldn’t necessarily go piling in on them, but neither would I lift a finger to try and help someone posting like that either.

But you don’t know anything. And so what if it is a hasten post Op made? He is entitled to his opinions. You and others, however, shouldn’t go around with that toxic behavior telling him this and that. You could literally have written : “How long have you played? This (x) or that (y) might have helped. Give it a try”.
But no, as soon as someone bashes on D2, the toxicity comes in play. Just like some people dislike D3 and not played that much.
There is always someone “buh huuh, you are only paragon 300 you don’t know anything!”.
I will not derail this post further, but seeing how bad of a behavior some people got, I needed to point it out, cause it’s just not okay, for that small word “crap” Op used.

I absolutely agree, I don’t know why they posted like that.

I absolutely agree, they’re entitled to their opinion.

I assert though, that I was never toxic, in fact, if you look at this thread, you’ll note I’ve still not ever replied to the OP, I only voiced support for a post made by someone else entirely, and you then replied to that.

I have no issue with someone “bashing” D2, as much as I love it, I don’t think it’s perfect, and there’s things I’m advocating for to be “fixed” (imho) for D2:R so that’s not it either.

All I’m saying Phoenix is, i) they made a bad impression on their first post, ii) rightly or not, their first post was always going to elicit the reaction it did, given the way people treat forums and iii) if they’d really wanted help, they ought to have taken the time to put a first post in that wasn’t likely to put a lot of people off side.

That’s all. Not saying the reaction they got was right, just that, given the tone of the post the OP made, it was more or less inevitable and at least partly the OP’s own fault really.

Anyway, gotta run. Cya.

What should Op have done?
Said : “fine, I will play for hours and months and then come back with an analytical opinion”?
I’ve disliked things from a very small amount of time used on it and never looked back. There is a difference in saying “hey, try this or try that. Perhaps spend a bit of time on this and see if you like the game better”.
But some people just literally went above what they should have in their first reply. That I don’t like, just cause he don’t like the game after a small timeframe, does not mean it is justified to make toxic comments.
Have a nice weekend

I mean, you got a point in that some people reacted harshly. But ‘toxic’ is not really a word I would describe their reaction.

As for OP, he must be new generation gamer or some sort. While I do think D2 has enough flaws, to people who played D2 when vendor didn’t sell mana potion, it seems such trivial thing to complain about.
