Why? when I hardcore dueled, I made sure to take everything out of the stash and put it on other chars in the game, this just seems like a pointless time waste.
i would be shocked if its even 20 people on here that would refund from having more changes. the people like this is such a tiny little piece of group.

If you don’t like changes then refund now and stop kicking around like an angry child. There will definitely be changes, especially after launch. You think they’re gonna let this sit and not do patches if it’s popular? Launch is just the opportunity to get the base game right. After that? Ground is theirs.

no you dont want any changes, you can still play d2 man. the rest 99% of playerbase wants changes.
you bragged that you did not needa shared stash because you had 3 accounts. what is some changes people has ALWAYS wanted? shared stash, bigger inventory/charm inventory, auto gold pickup, skill balances and even personal loot. when is it too late to add expansions to a game? that would be cool if we get for D2R down the road.
you fail to realise that you are in a minority and i dont really think anyone cares if a few people refunds.

Highly doubt your opinion reflects 99% of the player base.
I have that many accounts on pre order because i run my own ubers.

99% of people don’t want to deal with inconvenient mechanics, buying multiple accounts, managing mule characters, etc. Sorry but you’re the minority here. If you don’t like the game being modernized, go back to the classic game. You seem to like it as it is.

Auto gold pick up is for the pad and console support, you will get it no matter what, you should refund all of your 3 accounts.

Even if they remove enigma or put private loot or add a charm inventory, ill still buy it and recommend it to a friend.

I trust them to do D2 right. If there are a few small changes, that’s entirely fine.
I hope they basically pick up where Blizz North left off, add some more seasonal rune words for small flavor. Other than that it’s just gonna be great to have a little more modern D2 experience.

some people will refund if devs keep the current changes
some ppl will refund if they remove or add new changes
but i personally think right now they are on the perfect way of only adding QoL changes.
i will not refund in any way. for example i definitly prefere the old shared loot but if they decide to introduce personal loot i will be fine too.

I really wish the argument “You can stick with D2 Classic.” would just die. This is not a valid response to gamers wanting a playable version of a classic.
The original game is barely playable now. You can’t purchase a new monitor that will fit the aspect ratio, the sound technology it was built on no longer exists, and the old Bnet servers are plagued with bots and hackers.
Telling purists they should just go play the original defeats the purpose of a REMASTERED copy of the original.

I mean you are right. Problem is that purist keep telling people to play D3 or D4 when they suggest even the smallest change.

I guess I would be in the category of a purist. But this is not because I think personal loot would ruin the game, or removing rune words is bad. It is because when someone tells me a game I love is being re-released, with better graphics, I think “Oh cool, the original Star Wars in 4K and Atmos surround”. When they tell me they want to tweak it, and change things they aren’t happy with, I think “Oh man, George Lucas is editing the original Star Wars movies, and we have to watch it this way from now on, unless we hang on to our VCR’s”.
