T9 rift, Frenzy, battle rage bloodshed. Furious charged into a group and now on the windows/client screen.

Certainly, game immediately closes without an error message while playing. Thatā€™s it. Happens to everyone in my party running public GRifts multiple times

Iā€™m getting 3 crash freeze issues. (been playing since lunch and have never had any of these)

  1. Game locks up, get system spinning cursor, 5-10 seconds later unfreezes.

  2. Same as one, but get system notification that D3 is unresponsive.

  3. Crash to desktop (8525C79F-1688-4441-BA65-428AF3E1FC26)

I get one of these 2-3 times a day. No new hardware since last season, no Razor products.

I also get these ā€œfreeze problemsā€. Since I play HC this resulted after the 4th freeze in my death :frowning:

Same as above.

  1. Game locks up, get a system spinning cursor, 10 seconds later unfreezes.
  2. Freezes usually happens when there is a lot of enemies / elite packs and one of the elites has special effects (lightning, ice etc).

PC64 bit, Windows 10 and videocard drivers up-to-date

Never had this before in diablo.
Lot of my friends have it which drives them mad on HC.

Since the patch Diablo 3 crashes a lot.
Even taking windows with it.
So, it causes an entire windows crash.

Last season, I had maybe 1 crash during the entire season.
Since the patch, Diablo 3 crashes at least three times during a gaming session.

Tried updating, reinstalling etc.
Installed the driver for my graphics card from the vendor (as opposed the windows one, ran d3 fine last season).

I am running windows 10 pro, 2004 version.

Sometimes the game just disappears and a Diablo 3 windows dialog asks me what I was doing when the game crashed. I usually write that down.
The latest one being: 869A24ED-8E7A-4BF4-A5EC-C47723040131

Like I said mostly, Diablo 3 crashes windows as well.

What happens then is:
Both my screens turn black
2-3 seconds later the sound stops
During those 2-3 seconds I might be able to still control my character, I hear it shooting. Also hearing baddies, if any nearby.

It happens regardless of what seasonal character I am playing (barb, wiz, dh).
With and without active pylon, shrine.
With and without shadow clone present.

The circumstances are always different, the scenery, the mobs, sometimes it crashes while I am in town with no (g)rift open.
It can happen when I am struggling to get through the (g)rift or when I am face rolling a (g)rift.

It happens quite frequently as well.
Had 3 crashes within 20 minutes to one in a few hours.

The latest crash, did not take windows down with it.

If you need more info, I am happy to provide that.
Please do fix this annoying thing.

Started a T16 rift and when rage went off it froze and then dumped to windows.
Edit (Hardcore and this time I lost the toon) Shame since it was solo and doing GR85 no problem.

hi,

I formatted the pc, i reinstalled windows 1909 with all the updated drivers, just battlenet and diablo installed and it crashes again. I do the same with windows 2004 and 20h2 it crashes again.Except that on windows 20h2 the game freezes for 5 to 10 seconds. can we get a response from support ??? Many people complain and we dont have any solutions.

Lol I did the same thing, on two pc, I reinstalled different windows to try and noticed the game crash with windows 1909 2004 20h2 and itā€™s worse with 20h2 as pointed out by nikoper. On both PC the game crashes randomly.

my bro played since this morning with an old pc not update.
Windows family 1909
Driver geforce 432.00 the one installed by windows update.
No crash during 8 hoursā€¦

No warning anything was amissā€¦ crashed to Windows suddenly when I clicked a pylon

Iā€™ve done lots of tier 90 gRifts in the last 2 daysā€¦ no issuesā€¦

yeah i have these crashes too, it is starting to get laggy and then either it crashes to desktop or just a secong or two freeze(lag) ; Crash to desktop (8525C79F-1688-4441-BA65-428AF3E1FC26);

running w10 64bit(built 18363), i7 8700 cpu, 32gig ram, syset model z370 hd3.

did not have this issue in s20 haven`t played s21.

Got the crash a couple of times now! So annoying when the team needs me to push leaderboards! As a trashkiller i have to be there, but yesterday i had like 4 crash in 5 runs! I get different error codesā€¦

Sometimes it crashes with a huge freeze first! like 10-20 seconds freeze and then it goes to windows screen! But mostly it just exits with an error code right awayā€¦ I have never had any issues like that before

Iā€™ve had 3 of these ā€œApplication Encountered an Unexpected Errorā€ crashes tonight, on a 2 day old laptopā€¦ All were in speed GRs, one was in Battlefields, one was in Plague Tunnels, I canā€™t remember the thirdā€¦

Hi blizzard, what are you doing to fix these crashes and why are you not answering support tickets now? 3 days no response???

Dont make me quit a season I am actually enjoying cause of the crashes.
