One thing I’ve noticed (for quite sometime) is the huge variation of what gamers post on why they like Diablo style games. There is no way that Blizzard can create a Diablo game that will satisfy everyone.
Just with D3 there is no consensus, let alone D2 & D1.
With the unending rumors about D4 I’m starting to hope that Blizzard develops multiple PC/Console Diablo games.
Diablo 4 an evolution of Diablo 3
A Witcher 3 style open world RPG (no online required)
A Diablo based MMO
Would this satisfy all?
Not likely 
Most likely all future Diablo games are going to have micro transaction elements so not looking forward for them. Many may hate D3 but it is the last true Diablo game from the Blizzard we were all fond of growing up.
