Frequent dc's and freezes in game

I have been having a lot of dc’s and in game freezes.I have done all suggested fixes on the forums and tech page.Please help.Here is the msinfo.I reduced the size of the file.

Could you include a DxDiag file instead? You mentioned that you’re also experiencing disconnections. Are there any errors that come up with the disconnections?

I am honestly having the same issues myself and have been all day. First there were freezes and 395000 errors, then there were 1016 errors, now just DC for the server. I have run all of the recommended fixes - nothing works. Have a clear pathping - no losses. Don’t have latency issues or DC with anything else.

Update: after an hour I can only manage to play approximately 10 minutes prior to DC of some sort. No real error codes when DC, just frozen enemies, then DC from the network announcement. When I try to log back to that character I get a white screen of death. However, if I log out of my PC, log back in with a different character their game plays fine. I can then log back into the original character and play … for 10 minutes or so.

1016 is just a generic disconnection error code.
You need to troubleshoot to find the root cause.

Run the WinMTR diagnostic. The report will help to locate network problem. Copy the report as HTML and paste it in your reply.

I mostly get 1016 error.For some reason it won’t allow me to send the link for pastebin.

This new forum does not allow you to post links to pastebin unless you are TL 3; until then, you can post links in your message by:

  • put the link in your message as you normally would,
  • highlight the entire link,
  • click the </> button on the formatting bar at the top of the reply window.

This will transform the link into preformatted text and it will be allowed by the forum software; the link will not be “click-able” but others will be able to copy-paste your link to their browsers.

Thanks for following up with us on this! Looking over the DxDiag the only thing I’m noticing out of the ordinary are some Windows Desktop errors and Malwarebytes’s uninstaller throwing errors. Only thing to do here is to finish out the Malwarebytes uninstall (if you haven’t already) and check Windows Updates.

That said, the 1016 error is a disconnect so we may need to focus more on the network connection here. If you haven’t already please try running an ethernet cable from the computer to the modem directly. This will rule out a huge number of factors for the disconnects.

If you’ve done all this and there is still a problem, please run this test while playing the game. Run it until the disconnect happens, and for a minimum of 15 minutes.

2 Days in a row I have been in a greater rift and get disconnected and when I return my hardcore character is dead. My computer specs are way above the minimum, I have the video settings on moderately low, and my isp is fast (average 2mb/s) and reliable. I find this completely unacceptable. This has been my favorite game for the past year, but I refuse to play it anymore. I’m done.

You had some data packet loss starting from hop 2. If resetting your network devices (step #1 and 2 in this troubleshooting article) doesn’t help, you may want to contact your ISP for help because hop 2 is the gateway of your ISP.
