FMOD issue still not fixed

Still unable to play due this issue. Yeah, I could use another FMOD dll and play wihtout sound but this problem is around for SO LONG and I don’t believe they haven’t fixed it yet.

im curious if crashes still persist even WITH fmod fix. i dont have any characters to PTR copy because last season i died repeatedly due to game lock ups even AFTER using fmod fix.

FMOD fix (replacing the file) will “work”. I’ve not seen any freezes while using the custom FMOD file (not the one delivered by Blizzard). I play HC too, so it’s infuriating to loose all the work put into a toon because of a game bug…

I’m playing a HC Wizard on PTR and the error still occours with the sound off:

So, the only viable solution for HC players is to replace the FMOD dll.

So, the only viable solution for HC players is to replace the FMOD dll.

There are two other workarounds that keep the sound.

• Swap or delete msvcp140.dll and vcruntime140.dll
• Run the game on only one CPU core
