Funny that with this bug barbs finally have a top clear spec in the 140’s with R6 HotA (NS@10k paragon tho, see current darkpatator pushes on twitch).
Meaning that current 2.6.7 HotA specs without the bug need another 2* multiplier at the very least to be competitive.

Using seismic slam weapon for hota is wrong considering the available hota weapons. It is a bug and any power wielded is a fake power. If the class has to resort to such bugs to be competetive, we can cut all the hope of receiving any future buff.
We should use this chance to ask for a revision of the buffs considering there is a week ahead.
Message should be simple:
-Buff Lamentation to 200-300%
-Buff fjord cutter damage to 300%

Actually this turned out to be true. Darkpotatoes posted a video of him clearing 140 with R6Hota but with Fjord cutter in one hand.
So lets hope they dont nerf hota. But fix the bug only. It is not going to affect anything related to seismic slam but will prevent any bug exploit. Hopefully.
Also it needs a larger multiplier, fingers crossed for the upcoming balance hot fix

In my other post in another thread I gave Blizz 0,01% chance they revert nerf to Lamemtation. Now after Nev’s post I hope I was wrong and chances for us are better

Interesting that he did it with R6 instead of LoD. I thought LoD was the better version now?
Regardless, the build seems like it could do maybe 142 with power pylon at RG. Insane.
So there are four options here now, right?
1-Fjord cutter is fixed, lamentation is brought to a decent level.(probably ideal for fairness)
2-FC fixed, Lamen 0%-this would be just cruel work by Blizzard
3-Fjord broken, Lamen is buffed (not gonna happen, god forbid barb clear a 143)
4-FC broken, Lamen is 0%
Who wants to take bets? I dont like where Blizz thinks WW/rend is, so I’m going to be a pessimist and chose #2.
It’s not like using lamentation, and presumably a bug, but it definitely gives a boost to ww barbs. Just cleared a 120 on my 2k pargon wastes barb (landing myself in the top 50 for the first time ever…hooray…). Using EF and Ambo’s with Fjord Cutter in cube. All lightning damage build. Finished under 12:00 so clearly I can go a bit higher if I feel like fishing. Use it while we’ve got it. I expect it won’t last.
Don’t forget HotA. Remorseless should be 500-600.
Plz buff these before fix Fjord cutter.
We have to address this. Otherwise if they only fix bugs. All barb builds are still on the ground.

If they aren’t gonna put 200 back on lamentation then I would rather they keep the fjord cutter bug. Atleast can still do rend speed meta
