Firebird Spectral Blades : why no % on stuff?

Hello,

I was looking for a template Firebird Spectral Blades and I found one on Icy Veins.

I don’t understand why they don’t advise to put % damage spectral blades on stuff.

Do you know why ? Is this stat useless ? Why ?

The main damage dealer isn’t the blades themselves, it’s the Firebird’s 6p bonus that is triggered by the blades.

Spectral Blade % only buffs the damage from the blades themselves, not the proc damage. The proc does all the damage with the build, so you don’t need (or want) blade damage since it essentially does nothing for you.

In general, builds on maxroll are more reliable. ice vein is sometimes good, but sometimes quite outdated. So I’d go there to be safe (why can’t I include links??).

The reason + spectral blades damage is useless, is because it’s not the actual spectral blades damage that is the big damage dealer. The big damage comes from the 6-piece firebirds proc, that is not affected by any + skill damage.
