Final Service bug: The skill that is supposed to cheat death doesn’t want to cheat death 100% of the time
I have played HC exclusively and I’ve tried Necromancer this season, and while I’m having a blast, this bug has killed me twice. The first time I didn’t think much of it and I thought it was an issue on my end. But this second time, I specifically wanted to test if the skill would work with the same build more or less as the first time. I’ve seen this skill work numerous times in other builds, but for some reason it’s not consistent. When you die as other classes with the cheat death, you’ll see the proc debuff when you’re dead. I have not had a cheat death issue on any of my other classes, just necromancer, and quite honestly it makes playing HC a lot less fun when I can’t rely on my own passive skill to work 100% of the time.
I have screenshots to prove all of this.
Unless you have a video proof, screenshot cannot be a proof because the buff/debuff was reset at the time you died.

In the screenshot of my death, my buffs are still there, but the debuff for FS is not.
Strange, I remember that buff icons should be reset too. Anyway, thanks for your information.
No problem, I got the screenshots of the first time I tried this build, and the buffs showed up there too. Same issue, no cheat death.

Ouch, using Squirts on HC is a no-no.

The cheat death passive icon disappears after death, so the screenshot proves nothing. Try recording it.
