Few questions for a Returning player

Hello there,

I played D3 a lot when it first came to Console. PC some. Maybe 3-4 level 70’s, barely any paragon levels. Anyway. I want to “casually” play, so no compeition. The only thing I would like is tips on a few things:

Aoe Build for a Wizard. This is because I have never, ever played many casters in Action RPG’s. Even D2 my joy as a kid, only played Barbs/Druids the most. Also Bounties or Rifts? Or does it matter. Personally Rifts seem a bit boring over time, but are the drops better?

Lastly, I know the Diablo - Diablo 2 Lord of Destruction Story well. D3, not so much. Should I take the time for the campaign or jump straight into grinding for gear in adventure mode?

This of course is subject to your opinions on what you would do as a returning player with limited knowledge.

I am a new player, and I have begun the story. Just a few questions, how many followers should I hire. Before I salvage any items i need to checkk my followers and myself to see if they are better. I am still in act 1, is there a list of items I should h
keep for future use?

There are three possible followers. The Templar, Scoundrel and Enchantress. You will need to discover them as you play through the Campaign, they’re not all immediately available. You can only have one of them hired at a time. The Templar is Strength-based, Scoundrel is Dexterity, Enchantress is Intelligence.
