Starts with POJ Tempest Rush Build from Icy or Max. Put Guardian on head and wrists. Use WKL and Vengeful Wind as weapons. Kyoshiro’s Soul Belt. CM and Balance in Cube with Royal Grandeur.
Play: activate Sweeping Wind, depress right mouse button and go. Use health, Epiphany and Serenity when needed.
I am currently the #1 POJ (US SC) with Guardians and VW. Screw Captain Crimson’s. I have good, ancient, poison Echoing Fury & Pig Stickers, but VW is just too cozy.
Don’t even use Flurry and Master of Wind to farm; use Electric Field and Cyclone instead. Follower has ele buff not CDR.
Swap back to Flurry and Mantle of Channeling in the cube for push. EZ. If you get lucky, stack cold and switch to SoJ - don’t need unity to farm, not even in 4-man T16. Maybe once in awhile might get ganked by an RG that dashes. Whatever.
You missed the key, easy to play. The point was a lazy man’s build that is hold down one key and farm one handed most of the time in T16. It’s not the fastest or strongest Monk build, but if you want to farm Monk Legendries, it an easy build to play.
I didn’t miss anything: I agree with you. It’s brainless farming - the point I wanted to add is that it can absolutely push, sooner, and more readily, than the “standard” CDR build.
People sleep on the movespeed from VW, don’t use Kyo in the cube because “nOt oN mAxRoLL,” and for some crazy reason would rather farm CDR rolls while actually wearing CC. I even take Balance out of the cube and put Ingeom in to help people run bounties.
I just started developing my Monk for season 36 and am running around T11 farming for set pieces. Since I have WKL, Vengeful Wind and Kyoshiro’s Soul and Balance in the cube, I equipped Soul Shards. With the Soul Shards and LOD, Sweeping Wind is killing almost everything including Rift Guardians in Visions. I do have a couple 100+ LGs in rings.
With the Soul Shards, it appears Sweeping Wind (by itself) can kill all T14 Monsters.
