I need to farm the Horadric chest mats (like Khanduran Runes and Westmarch Holy Water). I can solo at T13/T14 pretty well but it takes about an hour to go thru all 5 zones. Would it be better to farm with a group? Or is there no good way to speed up farming these? Unfortunately the accursed cube eats 5 of each for each reforge attempt and with the crummy RNG it takes many tries to get ancient gear.
Yes, bounty runs are done pretty much exclusively as a group effort. Running them solo is way too slow and a massive chore.
Just jump into a public game, pick an act that no one else is doing at the moment and do all the bounties there. Don’t join other people’s battles, and don’t expect others to help you with yours.
There’s pretty much never pub bounty games in HC. Even in seasonal, pub bounty games can be hard to find. But in non-seasonal HC it’s going to be basically impossible. Pretty much all the HC players play seasons, the HC non-season population is basically zero. Look at the non-seasonal HC leaderboards, literally all the clears are in the few days between seasons. And after that it drops off extremely quickly.
Most of the boards don’t even have 1000 clears posted over the last few months. Barb and DH are the only full boards. Necro and WD both only have like 500 clears. And that includes a bunch of really low level clears. There’s less than 100 HC non-seasonal necros above GR60.
Non-season HC is a complete ghost town. The likelihood of getting a non-season HC pub bounty game is vanishingly low.
