For me Familiar is a pet/companion and should benefit from the attack speed of Tasker and Theo. I counted the projectiles of Familiar at 1,62 Attack Speed in 10 seconds 18 projectiles are cast without Tasker and Theo. Same projectile count with Tasker and Theo. With 50% more attack speed 27 projectiles should be cast.
The Devs think otherwise, since I believe it has been this way ever since they added the legendary power to Taskers a few years after the game first came out. If you want to change it, then you are posting in the wrong forum.

But where was stated that familiar is not a pet? In the description it’s called a summon, just like Mirror Image and Hyrdas wich both benefit from Tasker and Theo. It’s more like no one tried Familiar with Tasker and Theo, because it’s never used for damage.
Not everything in the game is explicitly stated.
7 years or so of precedent is a pretty strong statement that says they are happy with it the way it is.

It doesn’t say that they are happy with it. Only that it wasn’t brought to attention or is so low on their priority list that it will never be fixed. But a bug nonetheless. Companions should benefit of Tasker and Theo.
Post this in General Discussion and see how many people agree with you, that this has somehow been “Overlooked” by Blizzard for so many years.
I am not saying that Familiar should not work with Taskers, just that there is no way this is a bug or even an oversight.
Just tried Familiar with the Enforcer gem and it does not benefit from it. 8,94 Sheet dps and it does between 17-26 damage without Enforcer gem and does the same amount with Enforcer (+50% pet damage). There I expected it to deal 26-39 damage. It only benefits from elemental damage and Legendary Powers that increase all damage, f.e. Squirts or CoE. With Familiar is stated as a companion, it should benefit of the Enforcer gem cause it empowers pets, companions and followers. I’m pretty sure it’s a bug/oversight but changing it doesn’t matter in anything powerwise for the Wizard. Only that Familiar procs the FB 6p. And there are other bugs in the game that weren’t touched and probably won’t ever touched. Some others were fixed after years.

The fact that Familiars also do not benefit from Enforcer Gem is further proof that Familiars are not counted as pets and that this is an intended interaction, not proof that there are multiple bugs with Familiars.
