Over time, routing evolves. Also, the route itself can experience problems at times.
If you were previously encountering this error, please remove the additional command line argument (if you tried that workaround) and please try connecting normally again.

It seems to work; I was able to launch a new game while connected to AU1… unlike 8 hours ago when I got Code 30002.

I hope they haven’t switched off the aussie servers or I am gonna be playing with 248 ping in HC mode all the time 
No, as per the other comments, it’s all working fine now
Edit: Well, that didn’t last long. Last patch broke things. Oops. If it’s a patching issue, the AU servers aren’t being patched on the same schedule as the clients?

Still no luck on my end. Error 30002 connecting to Oceanic servers from Australia with patch 2.7.8.97927.
Just rebooted my router to see if it was just on my end as some people above reported the aussie servers to be working - perhaps ever since the latest patch an hour or so ago it’s no longer working again?
I hope blizz fixes this because having to play on 200ms+ for season start in less than 24hours will not make for a very fun experience

Confirmed – I too am getting the 30002 message now when I try to connect to AU1…
Hopefully they get this solved within business hours today as it’s already past midday here in Australia South East Coast, although maybe it’s too late to get a fix today as it’s the evening in America now 
So, they fixed the language problem and nullified the earlier fix for the Error.
Not surprised.

I am also having the 30002 error when trying to start a game. Received 2 updates in the last two days and the error started after the first update and the second did not fix it
My guess is because the time zones the servers aren’t being patched at the same time as the US servers. Oops if so. Might just need to wait for them to propagate. Hopefully doesn’t impact the three month season too much!
Oceanic servers are back up and running!
