DONE with d3 season 35,

Aren’t you the guy who swore to never do anything that requires Staff of Herding?

It’s very likely smaller than you think. There may be X number of names you see posting, but remember that there are people who own multiple accounts, some who do post on multiple accounts and others who do and admit they do. There is one person I know who owns 4 total accounts that they post on (could be more).

When you say “my skills”, are you referring to your gaming skill or your particular chosen character’s skills?

Only goes to show how addictive D3 can be. Even Bravata, who swore to quit the game, keeps returning.

Why people rage quit a video game is beyond me. I mean, OK, stop playing and come back if you feel like it, but announce to a public forum, I am done and never coming back, is childish dramatics.

I mean, it is not like the game cost a lot of money to play. I have friends that have invested in a not to be mentioned space game 500 or 1000 dollars and still can’t play it. That would be a rage inducing situation.

Oh well. hahaha.

Emotions are silly like that. My mom rolls her eyes at me when I get worked up over a video game, but then turns around and starts yelling at the TV when the Patriots mess something up during (american) football :man_shrugging:

That’s funny. My dad used to do that little over 30 years ago when I was a kid. He’d hear me going “awww crap!” and say “stop that!” but then you’d hear all kinds of flying filth when his team lost…

there’s no way I can forget - since I didn’t know.
On a serious note: My equipment is lightyears away from being decent. But my motivation isn’t great regarding outfitting my toon.

Another thing is Bane of the Stricken. The gradually increasing damage only works on one single monster at the time no matter how many you fight (and when that monster dies the damage stacking will switch to another one). So it’s only really useful when you get to a point where killing the rift guardian begins to take too long.

i never said i am done and never coming back? i just said I am done with season 35, thats because i did finish the season. and i have reached my limit of progression, i have reached my talent level with levels and that did not include finishing the alter which i have never failed to do until now. its just a knock on my abilities not the game. just someting to talk about in between goin back for d4 season 9. i wanted to play crusader this season because i never played a full season with one, but after getting up to level 70 and close to 1200 p i was not having any fun. so i just deleted the barb and crusader to save space for next season

So you’re just going to pretend you never said this stuff?

Most of what I know about Diablo has come from this forum and from websites about Diablo (maxroll, icy veins, youtubers etc.).
It’s almost appalling that a player can finish the whole season journey and finish the whole Altar apart from the last step (not counting the potion nodes) and then complain about not having the skill to do a solo 110 when it can be done relatively simple just by following some guides and some advice. Of course players are different, and I’m not a godly player myself.

I will give you the benefit of the doubt. I may have confused your rage quitting for now with others saying they are never coming back. It is cool.

I try to follow the Moody Blues in all these things.
I will look at the world anew.
Through the eyes of a child. See the world again with wonder and awe.

We all have our moments, good and bad.

Thanks

I’m not even pushing and my Frenzy barb can do 133. I do sub 4 min 118. Also, never understood the announcement of one’s race as profile name other than Pinoys. So proud to even put it on jerseys and the likes. I don’t see any Japanese, Chinese, Taiwanese or other Asians announcing their race. It’s just cringe.

yes i did say i would never do anything that required staff of herding, because it took me forever to get it the first time and it was not worth it. but its so much easier to get now that its acutally worth working for. unlike the first time when i had to kill chiltara a few k times yes thounands and yes my gamer skill level is really low, but i still like to play, it just makes it more difficult to get into games with other players . the ones still remaining on here are more hard core d3 and goodd i understand that, i started when the game first came out and came over from d2 even played d2 before lod

I get the altar finished first thing during season then just relax and enjoy whatever build I want to play and gear them out

Right now I’m working on the LoD FoH Bowmen Phalanx build, you know the one with the awesome Andariels Visage, some toasty Tasker and Theo, the ultimate Unrelenting Phalanx, the vital Vigilante Belt, darkened with the Darklight, blackened with Blackthornes, supported by Squirt necklace, controlled with Convection of Elements, with a stellar Stone of Jordan, the sweet Swiftmount, the kind Khasset belt, the excellent Eternal Union, and your choice of boots and shoulders.

I just have to farm the best gear for it and augment it and I will be done with season again

I can easily understand why people would feel like rage quitting when something essential just won’t seem to drop (and some of the altar requirements can be a pain to farm if RNG is against us). I have fond memories of season 28 though, with the original, powerful Altar and the un-nerfed Tal Rasha.

congrats, you good, a lot better than me, i cant do it . even if i go to the internet and copy a great character like this at maxroll

You didn’t copy it well enough then, I believe. Check the affixes you have on items, such as Elemental Skill damage, Area Damage and Critical hit ratings; if issue is not from their grade and augments, then it is picking the wrong combination of affixes. Some builds can not even scratch GR115 with low AD% and most average low paragon builds can not even go near GR110 when lacking Elemental Skill damage from their amulet or bracer. This is a plain example of gear check. There’s a reason you can augment stats to Ancient quality equipment, so you can soften the impact of low baller affix combinations.
Also why every other Season you open a new thread to complain about a new thing? And since when clearing GR110 took skill?

Dude, this was never about me being better than you or anyone better than you, if you’ve seen my post history, I have posted about quitting D3 years ago about the nerfing bullsh!t philosophy they had and wasting all your effort and taking it away as a casual. Because of their bullsh!t philosophy and sheep players here defending that there is nothing wrong with that philosophy is what drove me to stop playing. I came back because knowing that the ignorant Devs aren’t going to do any nerfing anymore because of D4, the game is actually more enjoyable.

The fact that my build is not gonna be on par with top tier builds and your character is a wiz, which has top tier builds, and yet you’re complaining, is something wrong with your outlook. My frenzy Barb is not on any top tier build. But I’m now doing speed 120s with sub 4 min runs. And it is fun.

Maybe you need to play the game in a different way that is fun, rather than pushing up or climbing up.

Now, I’m actually having fun just playing as a casual, the game is more enjoyable and the sheep, bot players here are not as rampant as before, makes the game more enjoyable.

And yes, fk those sheep who think that the nerfing bullsh!t was not a problem.
