Does simulacrum also inherit/enjoy the damage reduction bonuses of the character such as 50% damage reduction from unity, aqua cuirass, dayntee’s binding etc?
AFAIK, they inherit only the Vitality, that’s why on Trag Oul it’s recommended to get to 300 stacks first (at least on GR120+).
I see. No wonder my lod nova simulacrum (with stone gauntlet stacks) dies more easily than my trag oul simulacrum (with 300% life). Even though my own lod nova character (with lod bonus, unity, aqua cuirass, dayntee’s binding, stone gauntlets) is much tougher than my trag oul character(with only 300% life).
you can run Decrepify to help keep them alive if you’re struggling with it.
Do you get five stacks from the gloves before summoning the sims (like the guides say)?

Yes but the trag oul simulacrums seem more durable in comparision. And i socketed topaz instead of rubies in my armor. Have to swap to rubies to increase my armor.
