Do I need another account?

Good day everyone. My oldest started to play D3 on my aacount not long ago and he wants to play with me. Question is, If I buy another copy, do I need to make a new account and buy there or can I just buy another copy on the same account and we can both log onto that account.
I’m pretty sure I will have to create another account but if there is a way not to I would like to know. I don’t like to have game spread out everywhere.

In order for both of you to play together in a game, you would need a second account tied to a different email address and have the game installed on a second computer. The second account will start out completely blank (no gold, items, paragon, etc.)
An alternative is couch co-op on a console.
