As I wrote you, if you don’t understand that dedicated players aim to maximize wealth difference you don’t have their thinking.
A game with artificial drop chances and unbalanced loot like D3 sets is outdated design. More loot in a well balanced game always equals faster progression, especially when there is smart loot.
P2W won’t create any grouping or LB problems in a well designed game.
Three P2W players investing to carry one non-P2W won’t do better at P2W LBs. The non-P2W one would do better at start, but if there isn’t an unlimited stat grind like in D3 that won’t last for a long time. Eventually the other solo or casual group non-P2W players will reach him in the Season.
If there are LB conquests P2W could simply be disabled the first few hours of each Season while this type of LBs aren’t yet occupied.
With RMT however the players that do RMT can get perfect gear and that might be too much for the non-RMT players to catch up on in a Season. Combine this with all the RMT players appearing on the LBs as “legit” and you’ll see that RMT is way worse than P2W.
