It was epic. I was at the end of a greater rift. Boss was on the last bar of life and I was full health when suddently without warning, wiothout any error messages the game just closes down and I log on dead.
Truly the epic end worthy of putting years of effort into a character that I’ve come to expect from D3 hardcore. RIP.
That sucks. Not sure what caused the issue, but as a player of HC myself, its the risk that comes with the journey. Power could go out at any time to your home and RIP there unless you battery nack up your stuff. Who does that right?
There needs to be some kind of internal fail-safe system if the disconnect is caused by Blizzard. I’m not sure if that was the case here, but if it was, the char should be restored.
Any kind of system like that would be exploited by players. Was a great run in your character, congrats and may he RiP.
Yeah, don’t get too attached with your characters in Hardcore. Collect the resources and gear to build again. Recover fast. =)
