Diablo IV System Requirements

I need a computer for other reasons outside of this game…

Any idea on system requirements that could be coming?

Way too soon, man.

But if you are building it today, I’d recommend trying to get as high gear as you possibly can.

Helps if you give us a target price you are aiming for

I’m targeting $850/$900.

Speaking with micro center they helped me with a recommended build with a AMD 2700 processor with a 450 (I think) mobo

I really hope a 8700k and 1080ti can run it.

The game will be released on PS4/Xbox one Hardware, they are designed in 2012.

That means you can play it save in High - Ultra on every PC with price 1000Euro/Dollar post year 2015.

So in year 2022 on release, the common EBay PC for 100 Euro/Dollar with specs from 2015 will be the potato toaster you need for this game.

So do not think about diablo 4 as PC brechmark test.

I wouldn’t be so sure about that.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is on PS4, Xbox One and PC. The PC version can absolutely hammer PC hardware even at 1080p.

i would compare d4 with lost ark system requirements…

I would bet that my 5-6 year old computer will run it just fine. Blizzard will keep the minimum requirement as low as possible to increase sales. Isometric games don’t need a full 360 degree wireframe for objects in the world.

RDR2 hammer PC, because rockstar added things for PC version which adds more on PC, and skipped the PS4/xbox one graphic setting on PC.

Try RDR2 in minimum texture and 30fps max, and you find your PC you can use for it.

Diablo 4 is from blizzard, and blizzard has a story for diablo 3 and PS3/xbox 360 release. They didn’t add anythink in PC-Version graphical, what wasn’t also to see on screen on PS3/xbox 360.

Even if they did that with D3, it doesn’t mean they will repeat it with D4.

They did it already for diablo 4, there announcement PC/PS4/xbox one, is excactly this.
If they wanted to do a modern MMO, they would release it for PC/PS5/xbox two only

That’s what I was thinking. With that being said…could someone give me some feedback on this mATX build?

  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 2700X with Wraith Prism Cooler
  • MOBO: ASUS TUF B450M-PLUS Gaming AM4 mATX AMD
  • RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws V 16GB 2 x 8GB
  • GPU: PowerColor Red Dragon Radeon RX 580 Dual-Fan 8GB GDDR5
  • SSD: Inland Premium 256GB SSD 3D NAND M.2 2280 PCIe NVMe 3.0 x4
  • PSU: PowerSpec 650 Watt 80 Plus Bronze ATX Semi-Modular

I’m pretty sure they are making it to be playable on a current “good PC”. I’m sure anyone with a Radeon 950 or higher and 8g ram or more will be fine.

Do we know that? How do we know it’s not designed for PS5 and Xbox “scarlet”?

They’ve said that it will be coming out for these as well.

Because they said they are making it for PS4 and Xbox One

Thought they just said play station and Xbox.

Blizzard has designed a lot of their games to run on pretty modest hardware. While the requirements will be higher than D3, they will probably be pretty low compared to most other PC games released that same year.

In an interview with Rhykker the guy said they are going with what they can work with right now. They don’t have a PS5.
They are making the game for PC, PS4 and Xbox One simultaneously
