Diablo IV, Siding with Mother Lilith

I still wouldn’t. He wants to kill us all.

What? Is Inarius Malthael now?
We are his children after all.

We are his “children” who have the potential to surpass him and every other angels as well as demons, and as such he despises that. The only reason he didn’t kill all of us in the first place was because Lilith had killed the other renegades, and killing us would’ve left Inarius all by himself, which at the time he didn’t want. Not to mention that he had the Worldstone at the time, which allowed him to seal away Humanity’s potential of being Nephalem, so we became more tolerable for him.

  • Well the Worldstone is now gone, and so is our restrictions.
  • Inarius’ plans were greatly disturbed by a human gaining access to their Nephalem prowess.
  • Said human even managed to match Inarius, despite Inarius having the worldstone to augment his power

So yeah, Inarius has no love for us, and like Lilith would likely use us to further his own goal. The only difference is that after achieving said goal, Inarius would likely have us all destroyed (since enslaving may not be an option), while Lilith would either have us enslaved and/or discarded.

What a toxic family dynamic

Yeah, it’s a bit of why most of the ancient Nephalem (like Bul-Kathos) didn’t like either Inarius or Lilith. And most humans who did like them, were simply ignorant to their true nature.

He fears us and with no more worldstone, he would rather destroy us. As said before, Lilith would weaponize us but doesn’t want to eradicate us like Inarius does.

Like those in the D4 Release Trailer. So sad.

Indeed, it’s one of the things that makes some fanatics dangerous.

I would have liked to side with Lilith too but she will probably end up as just another boss fight punching bag.

well i’m glad to see i’m not alone. I would definitely side with Lilith especially if it meant wiping out the prime evils and all the angels that voted to destroy humans and imprison Inarius and Lilith originally.

No you can’t be a satanist/lilithian

And you’re fools if you think Lilith would “side” with you. You clearly don’t know enough about Lilith if you think she’s siding with anyone. She is alone and wants to rule on her own. If you don’t realize this you’re just not paying attention. Lilith is the most evil of all the demons or any of the angels (malthael included).

She wants ONLY servants for herself. She doesn’t actually care about the nephalim she only wants to end the conflict so that she can live in her own version of paradise. The only reason she created the nephalim was to use them for her own gain. Odds are she’ll eventually create some world stone to control us all and force us into subjugation. Just because she is the mother of all nephalim doesn’t mean she carries any love for them.

The game has always been about killing evil. That won’t ever change. If you want to make a game where you’re evil then make that game but most people don’t like being openly evil so it will likely fail

Please read the “Sin Wars” trilogy. That should change your mind about Lilllith. (Incidentally, the angel I’d like to kill is that arrogant smug barstard Imperius! In Diablo V maybe?)

I too want to be on the side of evil horned demon mommy. Step on me please.

i wish Tal Rasha would come back and give them all a spanking.

So far I like Lilith way better than Inarius.
But I also took a crew member on a mission to kill a murderer in Mass Effect - and ended up siding with the murderer because she was way more interesting and without the religious blathering which I despise.

The term “mommy” is often, in the lesbian community, used much like the homosexual male uses the term “bear” (or, more rightly, “daddy” - but that is overused by all types so whatever.) Although, to be more accurate, it should be “mommi” because, you know, have to spell things wrong to be right.

I suspect that both Inarius and Lillith will be killed by the Nephalem. This makes sense as it severs the world’s ties with the demons and angels. It also shows how the nephalem have grown and outgrown their angelic bretheren. I foresee the fall of heaven.
