Diablo III PTR 2.7.6 - Has Concluded

You remember, once you reach level 70. Extra points are earned, those are called Paragon. They are within 4 categories. Paragon point were divided up within those 4 categories until each one had 200 points. Then any additional Paragon point could be added to any category you choose.
Now it’s looks like per patch notes, you will no longer earn Paragon point pass 800.
Hope this is what you’re asking.

And no starting time for the patch being applied?

They have never given a starting time for the PTR but it’s usually available mid-to-late afternoon in Pacific Time (which is the time zone the PTR server’s hosted in).

And I have probably played a lot less, given that I haven’t touched D3 since D4’s release, and even prior to that, I played very little. I think I hit a GR121 with my HC character at like p870 (s6 impale, so never going to hit a GR145).

This small delay is actually relieving for me. It gives me one extra day to grind S28 abit more and perhaps attend to PTR.

Legit everything my brain thought word by word! No opinions here only hardcore facts unfortunately.

You are correct that a subset of players overestimate their skill. In D3, it goes both ways. It is not only a subset of casuals who think they are more skilled than they actually are but also a subset of high paragon players.

I’ve said, a number of times, that even on a build I know incredibly well (e.g. Rend Barb), if I suddenly, somehow had access to an extra 10,000 paragon points, my gear was instantly all turned into primals, with 750 stat augments and rank 150 main gems in the jewellery, having watched some of the world number 1 clearance videos, I know there’s not a hope in hell that I could even come close to accomplishing what those players did.

There’s a difference in experience / skill level that only comes from thousands of hours of playing the game. When an experienced Barb tells people playing this build that you really need to gather lots of mobs up so hard-cast Rends can do their utmost, what players envision as lots varies. Newer players think 20-30. More experienced players might think 50-100. World rank 1 players know this can mean every single mob on a map, right next to a conduit pylon.

Then those highly skilled players will remain at the top, even without the main stat boost.

Yep and they deserve it, not the players that just farm 8k+ gons and go on classes they barely ever played and win because lul +40,000 main stat.

So overall no matter where the end up with the cap, this was a long awaited and needed change, I’d hope most could agree with that.

what time start the PTR today ?

Remember folks, whilst we know the date that the PTR goes live, we do NOT know at what time. There’s only one PTR server farm and it’s based in the Pacific time zone. Blizzard usually make the PTR available to players in the mid-to-late afternoon, in that time zone. Example conversions for those of us in Europe…

PDT = Pacific Daylight Time (UTC-7)
BST = British Summer Time (UTC+1)
CEST = Central European Summer Time (UTC+2)

PDT / UTC-7 BST / UTC+1 CEST / UTC+2
13:00 Wednesday 21:00 Wednesday 22:00 Wednesday
14:00 Wednesday 22:00 Wednesday 23:00 Wednesday
15:00 Wednesday 23:00 Wednesday 00:00 Thursday
16:00 Wednesday 00:00 Thursday 01:00 Thursday
17:00 Wednesday 01:00 Thursday 02:00 Thursday
18:00 Wednesday 02:00 Thursday 03:00 Thursday

It seems to be live.

I forgot to check, can anyone post what sets are in Haedrig’s Gift?

Edit:
Earth, Invoker, Shadow, Sunwuko, Inarius, Jade, Firebird

Can you please, please, please remove Keeps for GRs? Thanks for taking out the other 3, but I a part of my soul dies every time I get Keeps.

Interesting incoming patch. Game will be recycled though, so gotta get my final cosmetic faaast, and move on. Although fitting my playstyle, SSF is too late of a feature (for me).

Also I have a top notch FoH crux, not sure about another belt, right now the build is real squishy, so I cast Akkarat Champion on cd, thanks to crimson cdr.

I really enjoyed D3 and the crusader for years, rip paragons (if confirmed), I did not really did the hunt though (would not have make sense anyway, when you are a solo player). Not into D4 as well! Gl for those in.

Thanks to Jay Wilson for initializing D3, hoping people are/will now be nice to him :scream: (it’s been years) Thanks to the creators of RoS too! Really enjoyed this one.

Cheers, also cheers for the one(s) who downvoted me systematically in the old forum, reason was?, you know who you are.
GG.

Except it isn’t. Sigils with that affix would have every elite pack spawn with the effix. I can guarantee you that if it were every mob it would have either been instafixed or instantly deleted as a non-starter. It does remain in D4 as a monster affix that can appear inside NMDs, just not as an NMD-wide affix, and it appears moderately frequently in the overworld, which is a problem there because oftentimes world elites come in packs and if one pack nails your resource to zero for as long as any of its mobs are still alive, that kills the encounter entirely as nobody in their right mind is going to suffer through a 10-30 minute affair for a couple of yellows they could get literally anywhere else in 100th the time.
