Diablo gamer Leviathan get's on the team

I’m actually fine with that.

This is great, both for him personally, and I think for whatever project he gets put on.

He’s a numbers guy; he understands the balancing issues very well, as well as how each stat affects things. I also like the fact he is heavy into the HC & SSF scene. As far as not caring about the lore, that’s fine, Blizz already has a ton of writers in house.

Maybe we’ll see some sets getting much needed adjustments in the next couple of quarters.

I hope he gets to work on D3 a bit.

Didn’t even consider that he might be working on D3, rather than D4. That would make sense though.

I am a bit worried about his profile, and what he might bring to D4, if he actually likes D3 :stuck_out_tongue:

They might transfer him to HS or WoW, you never know with Blizzard… Sure, the guy wants to do Diablo, but once you sign those contracts…

I do not know but it could have been for one of these positions.

I hope he sabotages them if he joins the mobile Diablo team… I mean that’s what every true loving Diablo player should do to a meme mobile game carrying that name.

No. He would not do that. Mobile is not something I am interested in. I don’t engage with it. However, I have no issues if Blizzard wants to introduce that audience to the Diablo franchise. They can do that - AND also still keep making the computer games we love.

Having one does not take away from the rest in this case.

Let other people have fun. You don’t have to wish them misery and failure.

But I have. Mobile games are disgrace for gaming.

As long as we get a AAA action packed, lore filled, D4 with years of content for PC I will be happy.

Agreed, I’ve no intention on playing Diablo Immortal. My focus remains on primarily Diablo 4 when it comes to Blizzard games. However if others are into Diablo Immortal, then I hope they get a good game out of it.

Than you are not a gamer in my book. If some AAA company decided to make games on toasters, I would be glad to be abel to play games on even that. More big companies are exploiting the mobile gaming industry, and it will ramp up the whole scene. More devices for the sole porpuse of gaming, more meaningfull games. It’s going to be a huge upgrade for the market.

Lol is that the same so-called forum MVP who’s displayed as much clue as Bravata so far?

Oh no, hang your heads and lament the disaster that’ll be D4.

“Woohoo, MVP get’s hired at Blizzard.”
“I’m outraged and support the walkout!”

Cognitive dissonance at it’s finest.

Btw, Leviathan, we’ve not agree much in our dealings with each other across the forums, but congrats on the dream job, I’m sure.

We might have some luck here… they’re implementing controller support for DI so this will make running the game on an android emulator and playing with a controller quite easy I’d imagine.

I won’t be playing it on my phone as it severely drains my battery and is not comfortable to play for long periods of time. But on the computer with a controller as if it was a console game, I could really dig that.

More pink devices for 18+ gaming you mean?

The only technology that can enhance gaming at this point is virtual reality.

No. There are at least 3 people who use the Leviathan battletag who post here.

Streamer Leviathan is very different than Tech/CS MVP Leviathan and both of those are different than a third one who posts around here sometimes.

Streamer Leviathan who was hired for Diablo is not an MVP/green. He knows Diablo well.

MVP Leviathan is CS/TS - not game specific. CS/TS greens can’t help the color green. They don’t play all Blizzard games equally and will ask the same basic questions any new player does. Problem is - green. So yeah.

Levi is truly blessed to get the job.

But one should understand his job is really going to be about being a sponge and learning things necessary for several years.

If Levi can deal with all the changes in his life and on the job for several years then he has a chance to become something amazing.

I believe in him and know he will improve and do wonderful things.

Go Levi!

This is correct :point_up_2: Some of the people who talk trash on the forum could not compete with him in game.
I wonder if his community activities will change now that he works for Blizzard. I wish him the best.

I think Wyatt is smart enough to not let that happen. Knowing Leviathan I know he’s interested in mobile gaming too.
