I agree 100%. Always thought about the possibility of having a Unhallowed Essence Chakram build, but it wouldn’t work at all based on the current game status

the UE set with yang’s provided you with a 50% increased attack speed, but without more hatred, it is pretty useless. the damage done too is limited by your maximum discipline. increasing the total discipline is what is needed,

The Yang’s also gives you 50% resource cost reduction, which makes both Hatred spenders (Multishot) and Discipline spenders (Vault) less expensive to use.

I don’t even use a generator on ue. Hatred isn’t an issue. More discipline is just more power creep. I feel UE is in pretty good shape. The only thing I’d like to see is the old Mar auto-shoot sentries, but I know that’s never going to come back. It was really fun though.

Guess there’s nothing directly related to DH in 2.6.6.

I heard people speculate that UE MS DH’s eventually could benefit from the new Captain Crimson’s set.

You would get 50% damage reduction from the resource cost reduction from Yang’s Recurve alone and then additional DR from the resource cost reduction of the set.

UE MS DH’s also have a decent amount of CDR, which would translate into a decent damage increase.

But I am not sure if that actually would work/be viable. Haven’t tested it.

Most classes didn’t get class only items, however squirts and crimson set are pretty big changes that do effect most builds in our class.

I even put together a ranged S6/cc3 cold build that cleared 120 on the first try on PTR and my S6 gear is mostly trash with no augments.

I hope that will result in a UE MS DH that does not have to use Vengeance (or at least perma Vengeance). I hate that visuals…

Things i want to see:

Uncap movement speed.
Holy Point Shot effect on M4 sentries.
Strafe added to SinSeekers.
Strafe added to M6.
Strafe added to UE6.
Item to cast EA while strafing (like Etched Sigil)
A Device skill/item effect that gives a TechForceField (magic shield) .
Something with Spike Traps… even if it’s just for zDPS, like a 80yd pull radius/CC effects.
Ability to use the Knife runes of Strafe with a melee weap and S6.

Sadly, it would just end up as a faster WW barb with better looking skills. …

unpopular opinion: Make Multishot build suck less

Agreed. I can’t stand that build for anything other than t16 speed farming with goldwrap or doing endless amounts of bounties (which i also hate doing). I just hate that my character goes splat in a GR the second a mortar mob even looks my direction. I also think the fact that a person needs to “stutter step” to push GR’s is crazy in my opinion.

Be still my beating heart. If each shadow clone upped your damage 100% I’d be so happy. I’d be a lot less enthusiastic about the clones themselves being responsible for dealing damage, to be honest, because I greatly prefer my character’s damage to come from the character I control than from minions with limited AI/decision-making.

Your other suggestions make sense, but this is the one that would personally thrill me.

  • Squirt’s Necklace
    • Fixed an issue where the damage taken increase was not reaching the 50% cap
  • Captain Crimson’s Trimmings
    • Fixed an issue where the bonus provided by this class set was subject to snapshotting

Thanks for the update. We’ll have to test how these changes affect DH.
