One of the many complaints in D3V was having no way to compare their skills against others. The reason LBs were put into the game was because many players want them in the game. Remove them from the game, and you remove a sizable amount of players form the game.
Again, let’s not punish legit players in a vain attempt to spite cheaters.
For years, I saw some many posts about “removing paragon would stop botters”. They tried a mega-low paragon cap season. It was one of the most hated, least played seasonal themes and botters still took up many of the top spots.
I rarely push for spots on the LBs because of cheaters. If they removed the LBs altogether, it wouldn’t make me play any more. As for legit players who want to rank on the LBs, they are going to play less. Legit players that want to hit those top spots on the opening weekend will not be there.
Again, removing LBs hurts the legit players while doing very little to affect botting.
