Death's Breathe

Look dude, this is the way games with expansions have been operating for a couple decades.

Get over it and pop $10 into getting RoS, or get out.

I would like to thanks all the users that help me about this subject.

So, I guess they should have waited until ROS was ready in 2014 so they could release them both as one game…for $120.
I paid $60 for each. Now you can get both for $40 (or less on sale).

Wow, and nobody has reminded you about D2 and It’s expansion, Lord of Distruction. It also introduced a new act and 2 new character classes. The Assassin and the Druid. Blizzard has been following this script for a long time.

Lol say what you like its obvious that from your previous posts you were havimg a winge that the game didnt allow u max level artisans and death breaths .
Perfect example. Hey guys i bought vanilla wow base game only and i cant play the latest expansion or even get to that area and i cap out at 60 not 110. what a rip off you mean i have to pay for additional content in the form of an expasion. Oh man this business is money hungry arnt they.

The DBs to upgrade certain things came in RoS. You want to play vanilla well without the expansion thats what your getting for the most part you cant have RoS content and not pay for it.

So many people are having a laugh at you man. Try make a constructive post next time.

And how exactly is your post constructive?
instead of just bashing on the guy you could have offered some advice as to his issue. Like I and others have done.

But having seen your posts before, this would be totally out of character for you to do.

OP, DBs trickle in until you get into the upper Torment levels. At this point, your best bet for decent quantities of DBs is completing a challenge rift.

OP doesn’t have RoS, and certainly not the RotN, so no DB’s and no challenge rifts… He’s only lvl 60.

You aren’t missing anything though. Yes, Death Breaths, and RoS, are required to continue leveling the Blacksmith and Jeweler.

However, it only unlocks items for lvl 61 and up. Items that you would need RoS for anyway to even equip.

LoD did not directly increase Diablo 2’s level cap. For Reaper of Souls, however, the level cap is directly increased from 60 to 70 (Paragon is available once you hit whichever level cap, but the XP scaling on it is so enormous that you would have to play for years to hit even 200, which can be reached in a day at lvl 70)

Thus, it makes sense that a RoS-specific crafting item, Death’s Breath, are needed to upgrade the artisans to craft RoS-level items. Blizzard has not taken away things from players in the base game.

Now, I am slightly confused - To my recollection, in order to do Adventure mode/get the Transmog lady, you need to complete Act V first. If you can get the Transmog lady/do adventure mode without completing Act V, Blizzard has actually added to the baseline game, since previously, lvl 60 was all about getting your Nephalem Valor stacks, and then doing your farming run, quitting the game, and repeating ad infinim. RoS endgame is, imo, significantly better then that.

Currently, without RoS, your endgame is…

1: Attempt to get your character capable of doing Torment 1. Upon hitting Torment 1, you can farm your classes lvl 60 set bonus - The Immortal King’s Call set.
2: In order to get to Torment 1, there are a large number of legendary items available that was NOT around back during the original game. Decent examples include The Gavel of Judgment (Mandatory for Immortal King’s Call) which will increase the damage dealt by your Hammer of the Ancient’s ability to the point that you can kill everything in one hit even in Torment 6 (The highest difficulty level you can get to). There are also a myriad collection of other legendaries you can get.

But yes. RoS has quite a bit of content that you will need to pay to have access for. This is content that was NOT in the original game - In the original game, the max crafter level was 10, the max level you could get to was 60, and the end-game was extremely static.
