Price is not important imo.
I dont mind paying $60 for a really good 10 hour game. But an A-RPG with no, or terrible, longevity, that is a disaster. No matter what it costs.
Not looking to get my money’s worth. Looking to get my times’ worth.
Meh, I paid full price for Chaosbane. It was short has a garbage endgame not worth playing and it was worth it to me for theb1215 hours I spent with my first class.
no I’m gonna play what I have…because I spent money on them
just not gonna spend future money on Blizz games…eventually gonna stop since they’re not going to update ow1 when ow2 comes out and the same goes for D4…eventually they will abandon D3 at which point I quit Blizzard indefinitely
Eh, I played a few of those this year alone. If we are talking 100+ hour campaigns.
If we are also talking 100+ hours including replayability (such as end-game grind in an A-RPG, or games with no ending; multiplayer competition and such), then plenty of games offer that.
Considering how much I spent on D3 and how many hours I sinked into it, I don’t need anything to pre-order D4. Even if I literally don’t install D4, I don’t mind giving blizzard a bit more money for the diablo series.
Seeing how they handle bugs and issues in D3, I highly doubt I’ll buy D4 at all. They don’t even care about freezing issues or player’s computers crashing…
Additionally, I am simply disgusted by D4’s pay to win microtransactions. That always means those things sold are extra hard to find in game, if at all.
Where Blizzard used to find us liking and playing their games with much enthausiasm and fun very important, that seems to be completely irrelevant today.
Although the name still exists, the Blizzard I loved is gone. If it still existed I would have blindly, without thought, pre ordered D4 when the time came.
Given their track record, I am not even pre ordering D2:R. I would have on day one with the old Blizzard, without doubt, without thought. I’ll probably buy D2:R in some sale though.
