D4 No solo/1v1 pvp content (where is arena?)

There isn’t any 1v1 solo pvp content in the game. I’m glad the fields of hatred exist but if I’m playing solo, which most people do most of the time, will I always be at risk of going up against groups in these pvp zones? The answer looks to be yes.

I really feel there needs to be some solo pvp content where you get to have some 1v1s.

Arena pvp 1v1s, 2v2s and 3v3s would be really nice to have.

I definitely feel the game needs to have some pvp that is satisfying for solo players not going up against groups all the time.

World pvp, Invasions like Dark Souls/Elden Ring and Duels all cater to this.

I think Invasions would probably be the most interesting out of the three as it would match-make better and potentially be positioned better (the game could make sure invasions don’t start with you under half hp with a large amount of enemies around you, instead waiting for quieter moments that make it more fair).

It’s also a way of having solo pvp/pve content which is what Diablo devs said they wanted to lean towards.

Mainly wondering where Arena 1v1, 2v2 and 3v3s are?

Would be really nice to have some solo pvp content in the game.

Unless something’s changed, the fields of hatred are pretty much the only places to pvp in. They hinted at it before, when Diablo 4 was first announced and stated that pvp will involve having areas that’ll offer opt-in pvp experience where you’ll have to watch your back. Fields of Hatred pretty much fit that description, so I assume that’s the only form of pvp we’ll have. Any more than that would be surprising to me.

I feel like Diablo is not achieving its goal of being able to be played completely solo with the fields of hatred as the only pvp content.

Fields of hatred will always feel unbalanced for a solo player and pretty much you’re gonna feel forced to team up.

I know many people feel that any kind of forced grouping in a Diablo game is against part of what makes Diablo great at its core.

I don’t mind having ffa world pvp zones.

But I really think it’s important to have some kind of solo pvp content that allows for 1v1s. Arena 1v1s and Invasions I think would solve this and be great additions to the game.
