Whatever your last server update did, it deleted a socketed Wizardspike and a Royal shield spirit I had on my level 67 paladin.

And, just so you know, lots of people have had that occur. There is no rollback/restoration. You may get lucky and it could, in theory, pop back into place over time but that is highly unlikely. So, suck it up and grind on… if the game will stay running long enough to let you.
