Crazy idea about GR cap

I love diablo 3 and i really wanna do everything i can to improve the game. I usually have a lot of ideas about the game but i am a bit introvert. But i really want this to happen. Please remove the GR cap but let the gem cap and loot stay the same. So that we can push higher while everyone has the same same gear and caldesanns. It is already too long to get a 150 gem.

The game can’t go much higher due to how big the numbers are, so they stopped at 150 to be a nice round number. This topic has been answered frequently, but is an understandable desire.

This is wrong. Current GR cap is intended design, not numbers limitation.

So i was calculating the Highest possible rift tier via known data and excel and i came up with a max GR tier of 446

The game makes more sense now than before, because there is pure efficiency contest when pushing is not involved. It just needs to integrate time invested into the LB so botting and account sharing of the rats does not offer advantage at the top of the LB.

From a non-competitive pov there is no “problem” to be solved, because the regular players don’t care that there is a GR cap in question.

If you want to create a proper competition based on pushing however you have to improve the Challenge Rifts mode, not something else.
