Crash / Black Screen on Game Load

I’ve just got a new PC a couple of days ago and installed Diablo III on it. Loading works fine but whenever I click any button on the start screen, it will black out and just freezes my computer that even renders ctrl + alt + del unusable. I’m forced to press the PC’s reset button in order to restart the PC. All the latest drivers are installed. Motherboard BIOS is latest. Starcraft II and a few Steam games works flawlessly, but D3 doesn’t.

Specs:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 3900x
GFX: Radeon RX 5700 XT
RAM: 32 GB DDR4
SSD: 1TB NVME

D3 is installed on the primary NVME C: drive. Temperature of the graphics card is a bit high (~70°c) but still within limits. Temperature of the CPU is ~ 60°c.

The D3Diag repeats CreateTexture2D() fail - 12, 2048, 2048, 1, 40, 887A0005 for a few megabytes so I truncated it.

I’m seeing a few driver crashes in your system files. This is likely the cause of the black screen you’ve been encountering.

You may want to try fully uninstalling the video drivers and then reinstalling them. Test the issue out again afterwards.
