Character models haven't been fixed

I don’t manage anything. MVPs are other players -that is it. We get green text. I can’t mod or manage anything.

We don’t get paid, we don’t get tshirts, we don’t get anything. We don’t speak for Blizzard, we don’t represent Blizzard.

MVPs tend to provide links to available info, explain policies, explain game stuffs that is pretty basic, etc.

We get to also have our own opinions and say so! Fun thing there.

I respect you having your own opinion, but you certainly enjoy attacking the community and expressing your opinion about other people and casting them in the most uncharitable light. Until this point I have not done so, but several times now you have attacked other folks in this thread alone.

The worst I have done is call you out. You have been very disrespectful while trying to be coy about it.

this is my exact point. Again, while not a deal breaker (only deal breaker for me is the ping-lag) i’m not sure what direction blizzard was going with making every class as unattractive as possible.

It’s a good thing to want to be attractive, successful, and powerful.

I’ve seen a lot of girls who appreciate good looking women too. This game is well established, but stuff like comics is going downhill for reasons like this. Funny how they still try and get the hottest girls for the movies though.

And yeah, I need to drop a few pounds. The old barbarian makes me want to hit the gym and be a badass. I think the new one still looks decently buff, but his face seems a bit off.

Because Cheetah wants to create a parallel between us asking if they could honor the source material and the folks being mean to the Korean archer, so as to cast us in the same light and shame us into giving up the discussion.

It is a standard way in which people of a certain political persuasion like to argue - they do not debate you, instead they castigate you and apply labels, hoping to bully you into silent acquiescence. Essentially, “I called you an ist or ism, and therefore you have to be quiet now, or at least can be safely ignored”.

I do get that as too Nick. It seems like asking for the game to follow the original character design causes some people to dig into their political agenda. The entire reason the characters were designed so bad might be an agenda in itself. I can’t imagine anyone working on the game thought it looked acceptable.

I’d laugh so hard if they originally had the classic looking models and were specifically told to make them look worse.

Here a quick comparison between the Alpha amazon and the Beta amazon

and here a comparison between the Alpha Assasin and the Twitter pic of her:

the assasin seems to have a different nose profile from what i can see? Given, that this model will really be in the end version. Could also just be a fake advertisement
Edit: Note that the alpha assasin is wearing light armor

ugh the Amazon just looks so bored and defeated. She doesn’t even want to be slaying demons. Definitely not fitting for the confident voice lines.

i view this as some weird censorship. It’s increasingly becoming “offensive” to show off your body that is well built and aesthetic.

I have trouble finding why it’s viewed as negative to show some skin…I see nothing wrong with it.

Oh, the same people cheer and love women posting their bodies on social media and even crazier things. Stuff like only fans is becoming a praise worthy job. When it comes to fake video game characters it’s the worst thing that has ever happened.

I think because it makes couch potatoes and keyboard warriors feel bad about themselves. Feelings are more important than anything else, so now our fantasy game heroes need to portray “realistic body images” so as not to “create negative concepts of beauty”.

They are trying to trick the culture into thinking that average, overweight, unhealthy people are acckkkkshually attractive.

Blizzard make the amazon great again!
The dream amazon we had at d2 :stuck_out_tongue:

The Amazon needs a brand new face. I wish her armor was more rogue themed than greek/roman, but that face and her stance… they are so uninspired.

this would be a terrible thing. People should always set the bar high. It’s like the plus size model people telling people it’s ok to embrace yourself as fat. When in reality, no its not ok to be obese…it’s unhealthy, unattractive, and in a country if you have universal health care, you are costing people more money by putting yourself at risk of being ill at a higher %.

I think the Amazons chest is still quite large. Just smashed from the plate armor she for some reason starts with compared to the tight fitting top she previously had.

Even if you don’t have universal health care, hospitals recoup losses on unhealthy, uninsured people by charging more for their services for customers that actually pay, which in turn causes insurance premiums to go up.

I mean… thats the whole point. That is why the change.

i can deal with everything else, if anything they should’ve made her lean and athletic with toned muscles showing with a slim face to match. Lower bodyfat makes your face really lean.

But what we got was a saggy amazon. Saggyzon

Amazon Proportions

Na, it’s WAY off.

apparently the aspects of being malnourished and pushed to edge of death explains why the barbarian is smaller and more ragged, but that reasoning can be tossed aside for why the Amazon is bulkier/more manly.
